Melissa Thomas, CPA

As Director of Tax Services for HBK, Melissa takes the lead in keeping our clients and staff well-informed about the many complex changes to today's tax code. She approaches her role with the dedication and attention to detail born of her extensive experience with litigation support and tax planning research. Her knowledge of tax-exempt entities also serves Melissa well outside the office as Vice President of Ecumenical Ministries, a non-profit community organization serving the residents of Baldwin County. Melissa, her husband Robert and their three children share their river-side home with 2 dogs, 3 cats and an assortment of freeloading wild fish who are always on the lookout for a snack.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration and Masters of Tax Accounting; University of Alabama
Certifications: Certified Public Accountant
